I often ask myself, “How can you possibly commit your life to such a corrupt institution, with ministers so degraded as to sexually abuse innocent children and leaders so deluded as to tolerate this evil?” I can only reply in faith that the Church is not an idealized human organization or perfect society, but the risen body of Christ.
